Creating a prescription map

This guide explains how to create prescription maps in the CultiWise application. It covers the two starting points for creating a prescription, the available configuration options, and the steps required to generate a map based on drone or satellite imagery.

Create new prescription from a farm overview

• From the farm overview, click on the 'Create New' button, then select option 'Prescription'.

• After selecting 'Prescription', a list of available prescription types will be displayed.

There are several ways to start creating prescription maps in CultiWise. The process depends on the type of prescription map you wish to generate.

For prescriptions Seeding, Fertilizer Based on Productivity Zones, Row Spray, Plant Count and Crop Damage Analysis you can request a prescription for multiple fields at once. 

When you start the process, a 2 types of modal window with several options can appear:

• Select fields: Choose one or more fields; there is no limit to just one.
• Zone Creation: Select whether to create 3 zones, 5 zones, or both.
• Machine Type: Select the machine type for the terminal.
• Notes: Add any additional notes if needed.

Once you complete this modal and click 'SUBMIT', no further action is required. We will receive the request, generate the prescription maps and notify you via email.

For prescription maps such as Fertilizer Based on Relative Biomass, Fungicide and Regulator you first need to choose whether to create the map using satellite or drone imagery.

When you start the process, a modal window will appear with the following options:

• Select Farm: Only one farm can be selected
  
• Select Field: Only one field can be selected

Click 'CREATE FROM DRONE IMAGERY' or 'CREATE FROM SATELLITE IMAGERY' to proceed with the prescription map creation based on your selected option.

For these types of prescription maps, you only need to specify the farm and field where the prescription will be created.

These prescriptions include Fertilizer Based on Soil Sampling, Total and Selective Herbicide, Only Crop Spray, Draw Prescription Map and Plant Detection. 

To create a prescription map from the field view, click 'CREATE PRESCRIPTION' in the left panel. You will then see the available types of prescription maps.

When creating a prescription map for a single field from the field view, the main difference is that you do not need to specify the farm and field—the current field is automatically selected.

For bulk prescriptions, the process remains the same.
